FISHING
Many of the members are keen fishing people.
Port Albert and Corner Inlet are popular Victorian fishing spots for all sorts of species, with snapper, whiting, garfish, squid, gummy shark, flounder, and of course the humble flathead, all being prevalent.
Some of the best flathead fishing in Australia is available right off the middle of our 400m pier!
BUSH WALKING AND HIKING
Sunday island is eight by three kilometres with diverse vegetation and wildlife.
Outside of hunting season all areas of the island are accessible to everyone and you can go explore the bush and the abundance of wildlife, nature & flowers.
SOCIAL EVENTS
Members love hosting social events and activities for children.
New Year and Easter are especially popular with the kids and family.
BIRD WATCHING
The diverse habitats of Sunday Island host a wide range of bird species. Pack a lunch and grab your binoculars and have fun exploring nature.
